BMW first unveiled the C600 and C650GT scooters back at EICMA in 2010. A marked departure from the German firm’s previous scooter offering (the C1), the pair were designed to cater to riders looking for efficient and approachable runabouts — whether that be on a commute, a spirited urban ride, or even an overnight trip.
In keeping with BMW’s naming convention, the GT was the decidedly more tour-ready model. With an electronically adjustable front fairing, heated grips, and a heated seat, it provided riders with all the tools for extended journeys in comfort. Power came from a 60hp parallel twin mated to a CVT transmission; even though the Scooter weighed approximately 575lbs wet, it could spirit riders to a claimed top speed of 108mph.
As MCN described the C650 its review, “A competent maxi scooter with a claimed 108mph top speed and armchair comfort. Well equipped, with ABS and electronically adjustable screen as standard, plus two glove boxes and a large under-seat compartment.”
Manufactured in June of 2019, this example is VIN: WB10C1500KZ316726. The seller acquired the scooter new from BMW Long Beach. He is the original owner.
The odometer shows 249 miles.
