Please Note: this Triumph sold before it was scheduled to go up on auction. We’ve added it to the site to help you value the Iconic goodness that we sell!
Triumph got back to road racing in a big way in 2019 when they partnered with FIM to be the exclusive engine supplier for Moto2. To celebrate the occasion, the British firm released a “Daytona Moto2™ 765 Limited Edition” with just 765 units for the USA and Canada (and another 765 for Europe and Asia).

Triumph called this “the ultimate edition of Triumph’s racing legend with the highest ever specification and a new Moto2™-derived triple-cylinder engine that delivers the highest ever power and torque, tailored for the road as well as track days.” The 765cc triple produces 128 horsepower (just 10 down on the actual Moto2 racer) and 59 lb-ft torque, and it was paired with Ohlins suspension, a bi-directional quickshifter, Brembo Stylema calipers, full TFT instrumentation, and a titanium Arrow exhaust.

As Bennetts concluded in their First Look review, “the Daytona 765 is one of those products that exist for a different reason than spec sheets or even actual performance can define. It’s genuinely special, built with passion by engineers who want to show the world what they can do when the gloves are off.”

This example is VIN: SMTA204K3LJAA0745. The seller is the original owner, he purchased it brand new from Triumph San Diego.

The seller has put all the miles on himself, he estimates that half were on the street and half were on track. The odometer shows 11,155 miles.

It is production number #144/765.

“Used it for street riding until I was introduced to the track and then just used it for track days“. The seller also recently loaned this bike to Kensei Matsudaira, a wonderful racer that Iconic sponsors. That’s why it is currently running Kensei’s #74 – he sent a class record with it at Chuckwalla Raceway during a CMRA race.
