Triumph recently got into the factory custom game, and their first effort was with the Thruxton. They call it the TFC (Triumph Factory Custom), and their focus was to make it rare, special, and beautiful. The rarity comes from the limited production of just 750 examples. Here’s #2.

The beauty is evident from the finish and detailing, which includes carbon fiber bodywork and a billet-machined top triple with a numbered TFC plaque.

And what makes it special? A bevy of top-notch components which include a TFC engine update with lightweight low-inertia crankshaft, clutch, balance shafts, rare-earth alternator, magnesium cam cover, and thinner-walled engine covers – final output yields 12 more horsepower than the 97 ponies of the Thruxton R.

There’s also fully adjustable Ohlins suspension front and rear, Brembo radial master cylinder, Metzeler Racetec RR tires, and Vance & Hines titanium silencers with carbon fiber end caps.

This example is VIN: SMTD52HE7LT951492, Engine #: H953633. The seller is the original owner – he purchased it new from RideNow in Austin, Texas on June 10th, 2019. He notes that #002 is the lowest production number made available to the public as #001 is in the Triumph Museum in Hinckley.

The odometer shows 1,366 miles.

Modifications:
This TFC is completely stock.

Cosmetic Blemishes:
Slight discoloration on the fuel cap. Has been that was since new. Not sure what caused it.”

The seller states that there are no known mechanical issues. “Break-in service performed at approx. 550 miles. Second service performed February of 2022 which included oil/filter, front tube, battery replacement, and kickstand recall. All records available.” Both services were performed at Cycle Specialties in Modesto, California.

The sale comes with the owners pack that came with the bike, which includes the a Triumph-branded leather backpack, serialized owners book, serialized Letter of Authenticity, owner’s manual, zip up binder with TFC logo, and a spanner wrench for suspension adjustments.

Currently located in Fresno, California, this Triumph is offered on a clean Texas title. “Title is not in hand, the bike is financed with Triumph (Freedom Road Financial).
