Back in 2020, Italy’s Terra dei Motori gave rise to one of the most exotic collaborations of the past decade: the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini.

As is befitting of a bike paying homage to the Sián FKP-37 hypercar, the model was incredibly exclusive — just 630 units were made worldwide and each one was priced at a 30% premium over the standard Diavel.

Of course, the Lamborghini edition was no ordinary Ducati; it touted a slew of top-shelf components available only to those lucky enough to get their hands on the bike. Along with a “Gea Green” livery inspired by the eye-catching matte paint found on the Sián, the Diavel also got treated to an “Electrum Gold” frame and a set of matching custom-forged rims meant to resemble the car’s wheel-set.

And that’s not all — around the bike, there were plenty of subtler touches, too, such as the Y-shaped stitching on the seat and the hexagonal mufflers.

It wouldn’t be a proper Lamborghini collaboration without a raging bull badge!

Expectedly, Ducati dressed the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini with an excess of carbon fiber, including the headlight cowl, the dash cover, the intake surrounds, the radiator and tank covers, as well as the front and rear mudguards, the belly pan, the seat shroud, and the dual-can exhaust. On the road, this meant that the bike shaved some seven pounds off of the stock weight, tipping the scales at 485lbs dry.

For the engine, Ducati kept true to its roots with the same 1,262cc Testastretta DVT L-twin as used in the standard production Diavel. With 162hp and 95lb-ft of torque on tap, it could take riders to 60mph in 2.7s before climbing to a top speed of 159mph. Stopping power came from a set of top-of-the-line Brembos, while a primo Öhlins setup took care of the suspension duties.
