If you’re not familiar with this monster motard, here’s the short version: in the spring of 2005, Ducati designer Pierre Terblanche pitched management on an extreme street fighter — street performance in a new aesthetic package. The concept bike debuted that fall in Milan. Based on the hugely positive reaction the bike received from motorcyclists around the world, company president Federico Minoli green-lighted the project immediately. It has been one of Ducati’s most popular bikes since due to its torque and agility. The model was updated in 2019 as a 950, and MCN called it “the consummate street hooligan.”
It was updated again 2021 so that it could pass Euro5 emissions regulations, and it thankfully gave up no performance despite the changes. Ducati claimed 112 horspeower and 71 lb-ft of torque from the 937cc V-Twin (also used in the Monster and SuperSport 950).
The top of the line SP was differentiated by Ohlins suspension, Marchesini wheels, a bi-directional quickshifter, and a custom livery.
Manufactured in January of 2021, this example is VIN: ZDMBAJDT9MB008290. The seller is Cam, our shop manager. He’s letting it go as he wants something with more top end. He is the original owner, having purchased it two months ago from Wheels In Motion in Chatsworth, California.
The odometer shows 444 miles but the mileage will go up slightly as Cam commutes on it.

Cam states that all original parts are included in the sale. There are no known cosmetic issues or mechanical blemishes.
Inside the tank:
It is riding on the original Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tires with date codes of 4819 and 4520.
Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Ducati is offered on a clean California title with registration current through August 2022. Please note that the bike is financed through Ducati, so the seller will pay off the loan after the auction to get a new title for the next owner.
