Description
Additional photos of this 2021 Ducati Panigale V4 SP are available here for your perusal.
For 2021, Ducati brought back an acronym that they hadn’t used on a superbike since 2012: SP (Sport Production). Ducati states that “the acronym “SP” is used to recognize a production bike with specific technical equipment that makes it faster on the track” and that “an amateur rider on the “SP” will be faster than if he were riding the more demanding “R” version.”
In this new context, the SP represents a V4 S (with the 214 hp Desmosedici Stradale engine) that’s been given special upgrades plucked from both the homologation-spec R as well as the Superleggera: carbon fiber wheels, carbon fiber front fender, carbon fiber wings, larger front brakes, Brembo Stylema R calipers with remote adjuster, and an STM EVO-SBK dry clutch.
The livery broke from traditional Ducati red, instead featuring a black-dominated paint scheme inspired by Ducati’s MotoGP Winter Test livery. The black contrasts nicely with the brushed aluminum tank.
This example (VIN: ZDMDAGNW8MB002291) is production number 1002.
The odometer shows zero miles.
The seller originally put down a deposit on this bike with a Ducati dealership in Florida when it was first announced but found another V4 SP before it came. He ended up acquiring both so he is keeping one and selling the other.
Modifications:
This V4 SP is completely stock and is as-new.
Cosmetic Blemishes:
The seller states that there are no cosmetic blemishes.
The sale includes two keys and “everything that came with the original purchase.”
Currently located in Odessa, Texas, this Ducati is offered on the original MSO, which is open. Have any V4 SP stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
