Back in 2018, Ducati finally broke from its long line of twins with the Panigale V4. Centered around a 1,103cc V4, even the base model was good for some 211hp and 91lb-ft of torque.

In 2020, the Bologna-based firm brought the Superleggera name (Italian for “super light”) to the V4 family. As befitting of its designation, the bike shaved 100lbs off of the Panigale V4 — no small feat considering that it was already a featherweight at 436lbs dry. To accomplish such a task, Ducati crafted the frame, the subframe, the swingarm, as well as the wheels from carbon fiber, a move that in itself saved nearly 15lbs. Of course, the Superleggera incorporated plenty of other top-shelf materials, including titanium, magnesium, and aluminum.

For the power plant, Ducati opted for the same 998ccc Desmosedici Stradale R as found in the V4 R. Despite offering less displacement than the V4 and V4S, the smaller, lighter engine made 224hp in its factory configuration. When set up with the race kit and exhaust, output was boosted to 234hp. In practice, this means that it boasted 0.7 horsepower-per-pound — a 40% higher power-to-weight ratio than its V4 counterparts.

Elsewhere, the Superleggera came fitted with only the most premium components available, including machined forks, a titanium-springed Öhlins TTX shock, and Brembo Stylema R calipers. Expectedly, all of this came at quite a hefty sum ($100,000) and was as exclusive as they come — just 500 examples were produced in total. This example is production number 382 out of 500.

Manufactured in June 2021, this example is VIN: ZDMDAGUWXMB000382. The seller is the second owner. He acquired it from the owner of Ducati Austin in February 2022.

During his ownership, the seller has covered roughly 1,300 miles. The odometer shows 1,426 miles.

“This Ducati Superleggera V4 is owned by a 70+ year rider who mainly rode the bike during very lightly attended, private member days at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway.”

Maintenance:
“600 mile service was performed by independent shop Tony Forster in December 2022.
Additional oil change was performed by technician at Chuckwalla Raceway.
Rear hub was replaced under recall/warranty by Moto Forza in October 2025
.”

The seller states that there are no known mechanical issues.

Modifications:
“All OEM bodywork was removed and motorcycle was fitted with aftermarket bodywork during its use. Therefore OEM bodywork is in perfect condition. OEM bodywork was re-installed in preparation for this sale by Moto Forza. All OEM bodywork is protected by clear protective film.

Motorcycle is fitted with the included accessory Akrapovic racing exhaust and mapping.

New grips were installed in preparation for this sale.”

Inside of the tank:

“The original OEM tires were removed before the bike was put into use. For authenticity’s sake the 0 mile OEM tires were re-installed in preparation for this sale.” It is riding on Pirelli tires with date codes of 4020 and 4020.

The sale includes 2 ignition keys, code card, owner’s manual, warranty & maintenance book, nd the race kit box.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album in the “Photos” tab for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:
“Due to the tank cover as part of the aftermarket bodywork, the fuel tank incurred three smaller than pin size paint marks that have been touched up and a few rub marks which appear to be on the clear protective film only and not in the actual paint. These imperfections are almost invisible and nearly impossible to capture on pictures.

The is one small chip in the clear coat on the rear wheel rim.”
