Lightweight, minimalist, and distinctly Scandinavian in design, the Cake Kalk INK Race is a striking example of how electric motorcycles can rethink off road performance. Built in Sweden, it rides the line between a motorcycle and a mountain bike, combining a 200 lb-ft torque delivery with a rigid aluminum twin loop frame.

Power comes from a 10kW motor paired with a removable 2.6 kWh lithium battery, good for roughly three hours of mixed riding and a top speed around 56 mph. Three selectable ride modes allow riders to tailor performance, from relaxed, ‘bicycle like’ cruising to full power in “Race” mode, while three levels of regenerative braking let the rider dial in the feel of engine braking or coasting. Chain drive, 19 inch wheels, and four piston calipers at both ends give it the control and precision of a serious off road machine, but without the noise, heat, or vibration of internal combustion.

Revzilla’s Common Tread article described the Kalk INK as a “dirt bike from outer space”. The Kalk INK Race delivers instant torque, silent acceleration, and intuitive handling that borders on effortless. Whether tackling trails, forest roads, or technical climbs, it embodies Cake’s mission to make performance electric motorcycles that are clean, simple, and beautifully engineered.
