BMW’s legendary flagship adventure bike has gone through many evolutions over the years – the most recent of which is the R1300GS that debuted in 2024. BMW made a point of making it smaller and lighter compared to the outgoing model, but of course they made sure to up the power and features as well. It was basically a complete redesign, sharing just three part numbers with the R1250GS.

BMW was able to save 8.6 pounds from the motor and claimed a hefty 145 horsepower/109 foot-pounds of torque. Other highlights include a new frame/subframe and new suspension (Evo Telelever/Paralever) with the ability to vary the front spring rate.

For the new model, BMW offered four variants – the base, Trophy, Tramuntana, and Triple Black. The Triple Black model was first introduced in 2010 and the reason for the name should be fairly obvious. In addition to the Blackstorm metallic livery, the model is differentiated with cast wheels, electric windshield (high variant), center stand, comfort rider seat, passenger package with comfort passenger rest, luggage rack with grab handles, wind deflectors, and a cockpit fairing.
