2022 marked the 100th anniversary of Indian’s Chief model. To celebrate this milestone, the company release a whole new lineup designed by Ola Stenegärd, known for his stylish BMW R nineT, HP2 Sport, and S1000RR portfolio. Six new bikes debuted, Chief, Chief Dark Horse, Chief Bobber Dark Horse, Super Chief, and Super Chief Limited.
All Chiefs either got a 111ci or 116ci Thunderstroke V-Twin paired with a 6-speed transmission and belt final drive, 26″ seat height, keyless ignition, cruise control, LED lighting, and rear cylinder deactivation. For a few extra bucks, Indian offered the slick Ride Command, a four-inch circular touch-screen gauge.
