Description

Additional photos of these Bautista 2010 Suzuki leathers are available here for your perusal.

Alvaro Bautista started riding as early as three years old when his father built him a bike to get some practice. Just five years later, he competed in his first minimoto race; even despite being both younger and smaller than the rest of the field, he finished runner up in the Madrid Minimoto Championship during his second season.

Fast forward to 2002 and Bautista had made the jump to the 125cc Spanish Championship class. During that season, he was able to finish runner-up while competing for the Atlético de Madrid team. Over the next few years, he continued to improve his results, riding his way to both the Spanish Championship and the World Championship before graduating to the 250cc class. In 2007, he secured fourth overall, winning himself the FIM “Rookie of the Year” Award.

When the Moto2 replaced the 250GP class in 2010, Bautista finally got his shot in MotoGP. He signed with Rizla Suzuki to ride alongside teammate Loris Capirossi. During his time with Rizla, he finished as high as fifth and placed 13th overall in both seasons.

This listing is for leathers from Bautista’s 2010 MotoGP season with Rizla Suzuki MotoGP. The tag states that they are a size 4.6.
