After successful stints in the 125cc and Moto2 World Championships, Andrea Iannone made the move up to MotoGP in 2013. He made his debut aboard a Desmosedici for Pramac Racing, though an injury that season hampered his results.
With a switch to the Ducati factory squad in 2015, Iannone finally secured his first podium — a third place finish at Qatar. Over the next two years, he continued to make himself known on the grid, battling Marquez and Lorenzo in memorable performances at Phillip Island, Austin, Mugello, and many other iconic venues.
Come 2017, Andrea Iannone parted ways with Ducati, finding a spot at Team Suzuki Ecstar alongside Álex Rins. That same year, he finished the championship 13th overall. Despite nearly doubling his points in 2018 (up from 70 to 133), a close season meant that he only improved to 10th.
This suit is from Iannone’s 2017 season with Team Suzuki Ecstar. It came to Iconic as part of a large collection of other MotoGP memorabilia.
It has clearly been down in a crash.
