The seller of this bike used to own a Ducati Paul Smart 1000LE. “I did a stint for a year in Tokyo, Japan. During my stint I became friends with a Ducati dealer. If have the story right, someone related to the Arai business also has an interest in the Japanese Ducati distributorship. Please forgive me if I have parts of this wrong, language barrier.”
“When the Paul Smart was released, Arai did small run of helmets to match that bike. I don’t see myself replacing my Paul Smart so I have decided to sell the helmet. I’d like to see this go to good home with someone who appreciates how cool it is.”
This example has never been worn, and it comes with the box and the manual.
It is an Arai “Classic” – the “Model” on the box translates to “Classic Ducati” in a size 55-56 (Small). Here’s Arai’s size chart for reference.

Shipping Information
Continental US:
Haul Bikes will ship anything sold through Iconic for a starting rate of $750 in the Continental US (prices may increase in rural markets), and Iconic will handle the paperwork on your behalf. You do not need to crate your bike or drain the gas/disconnect the battery if you go with Haul Bikes. We are glad to work with the shipper of your choice as well, but you will have to arrange it.
Please note:
- spares/extras will have to be shipped separately via FedEx or similar.
- the fee includes $15,000 of insurance with a $500 deductible. Additional insurance can be purchased at a cost of $50 per additional $5,000 of value.
