The Britten V1000 is a legendary racing motorcycle known for its innovative design and impressive performance. While the original motorcycles are rare and highly coveted, die-cast models of the Britten V1000 are a popular way for fans and collectors to own a piece of the iconic bike’s history. Whether displayed on a shelf or used as a toy, a die-cast model of the Britten V1000 is a must-have for fans of motorcycle racing and enthusiasts of innovative design.
For more history on the actual Britten-made V1000 die cast model, we’ll refer to the seller themselves. They state: “These kits were produced by Britten to help fund their racing program. The factory where Britten produced these kits was destroyed in an earthquake along with all of the dies to produce them. These kits were made in New Zealand.”
The seller reports this model is made of pewter and he purchased it in 1999 from Britten in New Zealand. The sale includes assembly instructions, video, and V1000 framed print.
Currently located in South Boston, Virginia, this model is offered on Bill of Sale only. Have any V1000 stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
