Built on commission for a customer in Norway, this custom Triumph is the handiwork of Richard Pollock of Mule Motorcycles. Meet “Colonel Mustard.”

Richard started with a stock Triumph Bonneville and then reworked it with his own seat kit and rear loop (utilizing a Saddlemen seat), removing the passenger peg mounts in the process to get the muffler tighter up against the frame.
The remaining bodywork includes fiberglass side panels as well as a alloy fuel tank with black and pearl white paint done by SBKPaint in San Diego, California.
The frame was redone in a black gloss finish, and it’s suspended by a MV Agusta F4 front end (with the corresponding front caliper) inside custom triple clamps with a 1″ drop. Those are paired with Ohlins shocks to manage Sun rims with Mule lightweight hubs and stainless steel spokes.
Mule stainless steel bars accept the rider’s inputs, while a Joker Machine mount supports a Harley-Davidson Sportster headlight.
South Bay Triumph/Triumph Performance USA was tapped for the engine work, which includes a 904cc big bore kit, larger intake valves, upgraded cams, intake manifolds, porting, and Keihin FCR39 flatslide carbs.

The donor bike is a low-mileage Triumph Bonneville, carefully selected for its mechanical integrity and character. As any true tracker should, the bike runs 19-inch wheels front and rear, wrapped in proper dirt-track rubber. It was imported to Norway but never registered or road-used, and has now returned to California, where it is offered for sale. As such, it remains in essentially as-built condition.
