Additional photos of this Desmosedici tank are available here for your perusal.

This tank was an original piece on a new Ducati Desmosedici that was sold in the United States and offered. In 2010, the owner rode this bike to the US round of MotoGP at Laguna Seca. Nicky Hayden signed the tank at the event, and would go one to place fifth in that round.

The current owner of this tank purchased the bike in late 2010, and he ordered a NOS tank to use as a replacement because he wanted to preserve this one.

Per the seller, “the tank has been displayed in my office since. I have since sold the bike and it is time to move the tank on as well.”

This auction is just for the tank – it does not include the gas cap or any internals.

It has been used, however it is in great cosmetic shape. There are minor signs of use on the underside.

Currently located in Brisbane, QLD, Australia, this tank is offered on a Bill of Sale only. The reserve price includes free shipping to the United States. Have any questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
