In 2015, Yamaha decided to challenge the small bike establishment with their release of the R3, and the end result was impressive. Sport Rider opened up their review by simply saying it was “worth the wait.” Thanks to a 321cc motor, it was faster than the competition from Honda and Kawasaki, and it quickly became Yamaha’s best selling motorcycle in the US. It also became a popular platform for ~300 cc racing.

The odometer shows 10,603 miles.
This bike has been owned by Moto United of Draper, Utah since new. It was used as a street bike for 9,926 miles and was recently converted into a track bike.
They are donating all of their proceeds for this sale to support the Utah Sport Bike Association Air Fence Fund. The UtahSBA is “committed to ensuring the safety of every racer and preserving the adrenaline-pumping spirit of motorcycle road racing. By donating to our cause, you’re directly contributing to the purchase, installation, and maintenance of air fences at our home track, Utah Motorsports Campus.”
