Here is a video of Peter being interviewed by Meta Magazine about this book:

Additional photos are available here for your perusal.

Peter Starr has over 40 years experience in the motorcycle industry and 35 years as an award-winning documentary film maker. During that time he created over 40 films about motorcycle racing, and Take It To The Limit was one of the most famous:

Peter later created a book called Taking It To The Limit, which documents his experiences in creating his acclaimed films. As Clement Salvadori noted in a review for Rider Magazine, “Peter Starr’s book is a time-capsule of motorcycling history that deserves a place on any moto-buff’s shelf.”

He also had a limited run of 25 examples commissioned which were numbered, autographed, and came with a Certificate of Authenticity. These have never been sold – they were originally given as a thank you to donors who contributed $1,000 to the Healing Arts Education Foundation. This is the first time that one has been made available to the public for sale.

Impressively, this copy has been signed by all the stars featured in the book and in Peter Starr’s films, including Kenny Roberts, Wayne Rainey, Eddie Lawson, Freddie Spencer, Roger DeCoster, and much more:
