Garry “Gaz” McCoy is an Australia motorcycle racer who won races in WSBK, 125cc World Championships, 500cc World Championships, and MotoGP between 1992 and 2006.
In 2008, Triumph decided to enter the World Super Sport Championship (WorldSSP) with their Daytona 675, and they tapped Garry to help lead the charge. Unfortunately, he would end up placing 26th overall due to several race retirements and five rounds off due to a crash at Brno, though he notably placed sixth in the second round (Australia) and 13th in the final round (Portugal). As noted above, this suit is actually from Garry’s 2009 season, during which he earned Triumph’s first podium. He’d repeat on the podium in the final round and ended up placing 8th overall.
The seller purchased this suit two years ago on eBay. This suit was made by Alpinestars.

Shipping Information
Continental US:
Haul Bikes will ship anything sold through Iconic for a starting rate of $750 in the Continental US (prices may increase in rural markets), and Iconic will handle the paperwork on your behalf. You do not need to crate your bike or drain the gas/disconnect the battery if you go with Haul Bikes. We are glad to work with the shipper of your choice as well, but you will have to arrange it.
Please note:
- spares/extras will have to be shipped separately via FedEx or similar.
- the fee includes $15,000 of insurance with a $500 deductible. Additional insurance can be purchased at a cost of $50 per additional $5,000 of value.
