What happens when you gather some of the world’s top Moto GP talent for an exclusive one-off supermoto race? Back in 2003, those at the Bologna Motorshow witnessed exactly that — stars such as Max Biaggi, Troy Bayliss, and Loris Capirossi going bar to bar in a special exhibition event dubbed ‘Superbikers.’ For the race, Honda outfitted Biaggi with a CRF450 done up in a special livery styled after Camel Pramac Pons team colors.
In place of the sponsor’s classic Camel logo and script, it featured Max Biaggi’s silhoutte and name. Beyond looking the part, the bike took the Italian to a comfortable first place finish.
After the race, Honda supplied Biaggi with a tribute supermoto of his own — the very CRF450R being offered today. The bike also made appearance alongside Nicky Hayden in “Supermoto Madness.”
This example is VIN: JH2PE05344M200629. The seller acquired the bike three years ago. He is the third owner.
There is no odometer, so true mileage is unknown. The bike currently reads 36.3 hours.
Maintenance:
The seller reports that he has cleaned and adjusted the carburetor, replaced the internal fork seals, and given the bike a safety inspection.
Modifications:
Alpina tubless 16.5″ front and 17″ rear wheels.
Arrow full exhaust system.
Race-built engine. Please note: The bike is setup to run race fuel only.
Titanium nitride coated forks with re-valved and re-sprung suspension for supermoto. Per the seller, it’s “currently set up for a rider weighing 150-175lbs.”
Adige slipper clutch.
Brembo four-piston caliper, braided stainless steel brake line, 320mm floating rotor.
Brembo radial master cylinder.
Tag Metals steering triple clamp set with 12mm offset.
Electronic quick shifter. Please note: The seller cannot confirm its operation.
Inside of the tank:
It is riding on Michelin Pilot slicks that have aged out.
The sale includes a second set of number plates, a spare 16.5″ Excel wheel for riding, as well as the original MSO provided to Max Biaggi.

Cracked front hub. This is the original wheel and it is equipped for display purposes. The seller has provided the above Excel wheel if you’d like to ride the bike. Iconic has 16.5″ tires available if needed.
