Modobag® is the invention of Chicago entrepreneur and world traveler Kevin O’Donnell. He got the idea while he was traveling through the airport with the Chi-Town’s Finest Breakers, when the kids started taking turns riding on his suitcase. It was at that point he told them, “We’re gonna put motors in these!”. Five years later in 2024, we are proud to say we have enabled thousands of people from everywhere in the world a smarter, faster and fun way to travel.

The Chief Engineer (Boyd Bruner) has won multiple AMA Nationals as a crew chief/lead technician and he built the bike that won the Daytona 200 in 2014.
Some of the bag’s features include:
– Belt-driven 150W electric motor
– 8mph top speed
– Indoor and outdoor speed control settings
– Thumb-action throttle
– 8-mile range
– 80% charge in 15 minutes
– Full charge in 2 hours
– Dual wheel braking system
Additionally, because the battery is an LTO cell, it’s fireproof and explosion proof. As such, it’s TSA, FAA, and IATA compliant, so you can rest-assured that you can ride and fly, anywhere you go.

Modobag’s founder likes to refer to this model as the “hot rod” because of the upgrades it has:
Magnesium trucks with titanium axles.
It is currently fitted with indoor wheels for smoother performance.
The sale includes the battery charger, USB charging cables, and a pair of outdoor wheels.
