In 2007, MV Agusta produced 300 examples of a limited edition F4 1000R, with only 65 of those examples making their way to the United States. As you can probably guess from the name, they were built to honor racing legend Ayrton Senna. Thus, a portion of the original sales were donated to the Ayrton Senna Foundation.
In addition to feeling slightly charitable, owners of this special edition got the unique paint scheme, alcantara seat, Brembo Goldline radial brakes, titanium-nitride coated Marzocchi upside-down forks, Sachs rear suspension, and MV’s 174-horse powerplant.
Other differentiators includes unique Marchesini wheels, carbon fiber bodywork, and an higher 13,900rpm redline.
This example is VIN: ZCGAKFGM37V100511. The seller purchased the bike here at Iconic in 2019.
During his ownership, the seller has ridden the bike sparingly. The odometer shows 11,681 miles.
Maintenance:
Upon purchasing this Senna, the seller had us replace the oil and oil filter, the hydraulic fluid, and the fork seals. As F4s are known to have an overheating issue, he also had us replace the water pump with an aftermarket unit from Design Corse as well as the coolant. While the bike was in his care, he also replaced the seat.
Please Note: Each Senna comes with a numbered badge intended to fit within the roundel on the top triple (they are not applied from the factory). Unfortunately, the number for this model was misplaced prior to the seller’s ownership.
Modifications:
Battery tender lead.
It is riding on Dunlop Sportmax Q3+ tires with date codes of 4516 and 3617.
Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:
