Description

Additional photos are available here for your perusal.

Americans may know Beta because we can occasionally get some of their cool enduros out here. But 50 years ago, they sold a complete range of smaller dual-sports and street bikes, like this 100cc XTR.

The XTR was a scrambler with a retail price of $399 and a 2 stroke single. It also featured “High Western Styled Handlebars”, chrome fenders, a “quickchange rear sprocket”, and lighting so you could ride it on or off-road.

This example is VIN: L9567. The seller acquired it 15 years ago as a project and has decided that he will not get around to restoring it.

There is no odometer, true mileage is unknown.

Modifications:
We do not believe that there are any modifications to this motorcycle.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on aged out tires.

Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Beta is offered on a Bill of Sale only. Have any XTR stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
