Description

Additional photos of this 1973 Triumph Custom are available here for your perusal.

The seller of this example (VIN: TR6RAG46317) had it custom-built 20 years ago by “Wayne Zebrowski at a company called Robinsons.”

It’s a street legal custom built street tracker with a 1972 Triumph TR6R frame (oil-in-frame) that has been nickel plated. The engine is a 1973 Bonneville 750cc unit (Engine #: 32566).

The front forks and both wheels are from a Yamaha XS650.

The gas tank is by Jack Warren at First Klass Glass.

Ten years ago, the seller had an accident in which he rear-ended a car on this machine. After that, he put this Triumph on display in his office. Due to the incident, this motorcycle needs a new front wheel if the next owner wants to ride it.

There is no speedometer, tachometer, or odometer, so true mileage is unknown. The seller estimates that this has approximately 5,000 miles.

The electrical system runs off of a magneto and there is no battery. Because of this, you have to blip the throttle at idle if the lights are on. Please note the location of the ignition switch on the right side of the frame neck.

It is equipped with Continental Twinduro TKC80 tires.

The seat is from Mustang.

The tank has some scratches on the top and side.

Currently at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment if you’d like to inspect it), this custom Triumph is offered on a clean California title with non-op registration. (11/10 Update: please note that this bike was previously listed with expired registration. The seller confirms that it is on non-op).

The seller is letting go of this (and several other bikes through Iconic this week) as he can no longer ride due to a medical issue. Have any questions about this listing? Let us know in the comments below!
