RM was Suzuki’s designation for Racing Model, and it was reserved for motocross racers. Displacements ranged from 50cc to 500cc, and the two-stroke 125 was built between 1975 and 2007.
Cycle magazine said the 1978 RM125 was the most powerful 125cc motocross that had ever tested, putting out 22.08 horsepower and 12.24 foot-pounds of torque.

This bike is being sold by our friends at New Haven Powersports in New Haven, Connecticut. “The early history and exact provenance of this machine are currently unknown, it has been on display in their showroom since the early 2000s. This is a used vintage motocross bike that is a classic “10-footer.” It boasts a striking, nostalgic silhouette that catches the eye and photographs well, but closer inspection reveals weathered details, patina, and mechanical wear. It is an older aesthetic restoration with a driver-quality cosmetic finish that runs well.”
