This week, we are auctioning off several motorcycles out of a collection that came to us from Iowa – all with no reserve. Each one of the bikes has been on display for roughly ten years and does not currently run, however we quickly went through them to clean them and determine if they can fire up.

This is a Kawasaki GPz305, which won Best Under 460cc Streetbike in Cycle World’s Ten Best Bikes of 1983 because it was the “best of the lightweight roadsters,” offering excellent handling, low weight, and reasonable costs.

Unlike most Kawasaki sportbikes, the 305 used a Kevlar belt final drive – a fact advertised on the sidecover.

Manufactured in January of 1983, this example is VIN: JKAEXLB11DA000513, Engine Number: KZ305AE023209.

The odometer shows 4,901 miles.

It has been on display for roughly 10 years. In preparation for the listing, the seller had us clean it up and prove that it runs (please see video up top).

Modifications:
EMGO Roadhawk mirrors – as shown below, the glass in the right mirror is missing.

ProGrip grips.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the photo album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Below is a selection.

Inside of the tank:

The sale includes one key.

It is riding on Bridgestone Battlax BT45 tires from 2013.

Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Kawasaki is offered on a clean Washington title.
