Sold in the US for three years, the Honda VTR250 has become a cult classic for riders that love small bikes. The liquid cooled 250cc engine was paired with a six-speed transmission, and interestingly, an inboard front disc.

If you want something different than the usual Ninja 250/300, this is truly a great small displacement all-arounder. You could attain 90 mpg if you babied it, but still do 95mph if you needed it.

Manufactured in December of 1987, this example is VIN: JH2MC1513JM000401.

The odometer shows 9,208 miles.

This is one of the last machines coming out of an estate sale that we’ve been working through the last few months. It came to us with the bodywork off and covered in dust, Angel wiped it down and buttoned it up for photos but this is offered as a non-running project that may be missing some parts (spark plugs, at the very least).

The carbs are apart but we believe all the parts are included.

Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California, (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Honda is offered on a clean California title with expired registration. We spoke with the DMV and estimated fees to make it current through September 2022 are $265.
