Description
Additional photos of this Suzuki GSX-R1100 are available here for your perusal.
The last of the oil-cooled motor in the big Gixxer, the 1992 “N” model was known for its prodigious power (145 hp) and the aggressive “Tiger Stripe” livery. It was a big bike, weighing just under 500 pounds dry but the suspension had gained multiple levels of adjustability to help – Motorcyclist magazine called it a great choice “for building an Open Superbike or Formula One machine” due to the “fully adjustable fork, easily hot-rodded engine, and strong aftermarket backing.”
This example is VIN: JS1GV73A2N2101575, Engine #: V710-120433.
The seller has been storing it with us for the last 18 months with the intent of restoring it, but he hasn’t had the time to make that happen so he’d like to free up the space.
The odometer shows 10,569 miles.
Aftermarket upgrades include a Micron exhaust and Gustafsson Windscreen.
To make this Suzuki a runner, we believe the next owner would need to perform a tank clean, carb service, tires, and the usual smaller pieces associated with a recommission like an oil change. As always, our White Glove service would be glad to assist the next owner if they desire.
Photos of all known cosmetic issues are included in the album above.
Please note that the paint on the tank is cracking or crazing in a way that can’t be touched up – it would have to be resprayed to fix.
Whether you want to get it back on the street or turn it into a classic racebike, this “tiger stripe” GSX-R is waiting for you.
