We’re big fans of the Kawasaki ZX-7R here at Iconic, though the ones that pass through our hands are often low mileage homologation specials. This ZX-7R is offered with no reserve and a bill of sale, and it’s perfect for someone who wants to enjoy some classic track days or racing!
The seller acquired the bike 7 years ago to use as an additional track bike, but he never ended up using it as intended because his collection is mostly Ducatis and most of the track events he attended were Ducati-focused (such as Ducati Revs). The seller acquired it from a well-known Ducati mechanic on the east coast as a ‘bonus buy’ – he was purchasing a couple of Ducatis and opted to buy this Kawasaki as part of the transaction.

It has all the signs of a bike that’s been raced, with plenty of cosmetic rash, some cracks in the bodywork, and a cracked exhaust hanger.
But as shown in the video up top, it rides well, sounds great, and would be an excellent way to affordably get on the track! It had been sitting for a bit so this week we checked all the fluids and spark plugs, installed a new battery, and made her a runner.
