More of a sport-tourer than an outright sportbike, the 1100 is a beautiful anomaly from the usual Guzzi fare of torque-y cruisers. Traditionalists shouldn’t worry as it still packs the trademark V-Twin, but in this incarnation the motor is surrounded by performance components:
Brembo brakes.
WP suspension.
Bitubo steering damper.
Marchesini alloy wheels.
The 1,064cc motor was good for 90 horsepower and 71 lb-ft of torque, and you can flirt with 140 miles per hour with the throttle pulled all the way back. For more information, check out this story on Motorcycle.com – they call it a “unique combination of old-world sensations and modern components.”
The seller of this example (VIN: ZGUKFAKF8VM111990) acquired it 18 years ago from a private party.
At the time of his acquisition, this Guzzi had approximately 2,250 miles. The odometer now shows 13,190 miles.
The most obvious modification is the custom paint.
It’s equipped with a Staintune dual exhaust.
We also note engine protection and foam air filters.
All maintenance was performed by Pro Italia. We see some oil build up on the back of the motor.
Some engine paint has flaked off.
Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please schedule an appointment for a viewing), this Moto Guzzi is offered on a clean California title with registration current through January 2021.
The sale includes a Workshop Manual and Owner’s Manual.
