Description
Additional photos of this Ducati 748 are available here for your perusal.
This bike has a simple and unfortunate story – a close friend recently crashed on it, he’s now done with cars/bikes/trophy trucks, and we don’t like seeing it around. To be frank, it bums us out when we see it, and we want it out of our storage hangar. With that in mind, we’re offering it up with no reserve, so you can have yourself a fine runner for a cheap entry price and a little bit of work.
The crash was at less than 20 miles per hour. As you can see from the photos, this bike went down on the right side.
The right side mirror and windscreen are also heavily damaged.
All the owner knows about this bike (VIN: ZDM1SB3R1YB012912) is that it’s titled in Arizona, the motor was punched out to ~853cc, and he bought it from a “Ducati employee”. The crash happened 5 months ago, and the bike was obviously a runner at the time. It’s been sitting since, so you’ll want to budget for a new battery.
As seen in the photos, this 748 has a Corbin seat, aftermarket mirrors with integrated turn signals, a carbon fiber tank protector, and an Arrow exhaust.
While we no longer want this bike, we hope the next owner gets lots of enjoyment out of it. We look forward to seeing if it becomes a streetfighter, gets restored, or becomes a track day mount!
