We love our RC51s here, but this one’s going to need a savior. It suffered from a fire due to a battery tender while parked in a previous owner’s garage several years ago. The current owner acquired it as a project to bring it back to life but has not had the time to do so, and he’d like to give someone else the chance to get it on the road again.
Manufactured in October of 2000, this example is VIN: JH2SC45461M100009.
We are not able to hook a battery up so we are not able to confirm the odometer reading.
Modifications:
ASV levers, aftermarket bar ends, flush mount front turn signals.
Tech G rearsets.
Carbon fiber dash accent, Hyperpro steering damper.
Puig windscreen.
The sale includes some parts taken off after the fire such as the subframe, seat, and rearsets.
The sale also includes Micron exhausts.
Cosmetic Blemishes:
In addition to the obvious issues due to the fire, we note some wear to the mirror housings.
Scratches on the left fairing.
Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Honda is offered on a clean California title with planned non-op registration.

Shipping Information
Continental US:
Haul Bikes will ship anything sold through Iconic for a starting rate of $750 in the Continental US (prices may increase in rural markets), and Iconic will handle the paperwork on your behalf. You do not need to crate your bike or drain the gas/disconnect the battery if you go with Haul Bikes. We are glad to work with the shipper of your choice as well, but you will have to arrange it.
Please note:
- spares/extras will have to be shipped separately via FedEx or similar.
- the fee includes $15,000 of insurance with a $500 deductible. Additional insurance can be purchased at a cost of $50 per additional $5,000 of value.
