When Ben Bostrom was competing in AMA Superbike with a 998S, he raced with the number 155. So when Ducati decided to sell a limited edition replica, they sold 155 examples in the US, 155 examples in the UK, and another 155 for the rest of the world.

Ben signed every tank himself.

When it comes to limited edition Ducatis, the differences can sometimes just be cosmetic. In this case, the Bostrom rep got you Ohlins suspension, a blue frame, Marchesini wheels, and some carbon fiber pieces.

US riders got screwed a little bit here, as the UK “S” model got a hotted up engine. US “S” models got 4 pot Brembos, Ohlins steering damper, larger exhaust, and a carbon belly pan. But the engine was the same.

This example (VIN: ZDM1SB5V02B015186) is #15 of the 155 that originally came to the US. The seller acquired it from Iconic Motorbike Auctions last year and immediately put it on display. The previous owner had it in a similar role, in which it covered 3 miles in over 3 years.

The odometer shows 5,727 miles.

Modifications:
Ducati performance clutch slave cylinder, Goodridge clutch line, Rizoma open front sprocket cover, and MPL frame plugs.

Rizoma open clutch cover showing off a Ducati Performance clutch.

Aftermarket turn signals.

Steel braided brake lines.

Battery tender lead.

Pazzo Racing levers.

Please note that this bike has side panels from the UK Ben Bostrom replica. The seller bought it this way and does not know why that’s the case, but they are fiberglass.

The Dunlop Sportmax Q3 tires are from 2015.

Cosmetic Blemishes:

The right side bar end is missing but the seller has ordered one and we will have it installed before the auction ends.

Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Ducati is offered on a clean Texas title. Have any Ben Bostrom stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the comments!
