Description
Additional photos of this 2003 Honda Metropolitan are available here for your perusal.
The Honda CHF50 was known by many names across the world depending on the market: Jazz, Crea, Scoopy, and in the US – Metropolitan. The US first got it in 2002 and it’s been a popular option that’s still offered today.
Honda calls it “the European-style scooter engineered to embody American practicality,” with a 4.9 horsepower 50cc that returned over 90 miles per gallon. Wet weight was just 176 pounds.
This example is VIN: AF551048973. It was originally built for a market outside of the US.
The odometer shows 2,142 kilometers (1,331 miles).
Our friend Kevin Erion was given this as part of a package of scooters by Honda to use as pit bikes during AMA racing.
