Additional photos of these Eric Bostrom leathers are available here for your perusal.

Our buddy Kevin Erion has opened up his private stash of leathers, and we’ll be selling a few suits from some of your favorite Erion Honda AMA riders! Here’s a suit worn by Eric Bostrom.

While Eric was probably best known for his time with Kawasaki’s factory team from ’99-’03, he raced for Erion Honda in 1998. That was the first year of his AMA Superbike career – he was brought on to replace Miguel Duhamel, who broke his leg in a crash while qualifying at Loudon on a Honda RC45. Bostrom would go on to place 3rd in AMA Supersport and 1st in AMA Formula Xtreme that year. You can see the suit several times in this Speedvision recap of the 1998 Formula Xtreme season:

As shown in the video, Eric absolutely dominated that season, winning nine of the eleven races on a Erion Honda CBR900RR. Per this photo from Eric’s Twitter account, this appears to be a suit from his masterful 1998 run. That added to his 1997 Harley-Davidson Super Twins Championship as well as his eventual 2001 AMA Supersport Championship, not to mention several races in World Superbike and AMA Superbike.

This suit is made by RS Taichi.

As fans of Eric will know, his nickname is “Boss Hog.”
