We’ve featured several ZRXs here at Iconic, but this one (VIN: JKAZR9A135A039282) was the commuter of our wrench and good buddy Ollie, who you’ve seen all over our Instagram!
He bought it three years ago from a private party in Santa Barbara, California. The previous owner had a low speed tip over and replaced the exhaust silencer, and Ollie then replaced the clutch cover.
Ollie bought it with approximately 20,000 miles, and used it as a commuter from his home in Moorpark, California to his job at the Yoshimura race team in Chino, California (about 160 miles/day) until he joined us last year (100 miles/day). The odometer currently shows 70,976 miles.
It is in good mechanical shape and it runs well – Ollie last adjusted the valves at 25k miles and has been changing the oil every 5,000 miles. He’ll throw in a fresh oil change for the new owner as well.
It will need tires soon.
Modifications:
Factory Pro jet kit and ignition advance rotor (both installed by Ollie).
Oxford heated grips.
Zero Gravity windscreen.
Tsukigi Racing exhaust.
There are several minor cosmetic blemishes – photos of them are included in the album above.
Faded tank sticker.
The seat has a tear.
Ollie just traded this in on another ZRX that we had in our inventory to use as his next commuter, so we’re offering this up at no reserve!
Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please schedule an appointment if you’d like to inspect it), this ZRX is offered on a salvaged California title with registration current through February 2021.
