Additional photos of this 2006 Honda Metropolitan are available here for your perusal.

The Honda CHF50 was known by many names across the world depending on the market: Jazz, Crea, Scoopy, and in the US – Metropolitan. The US first got it in 2002 and it’s been a popular option that’s still offered today.

Honda calls it “the European-style scooter engineered to embody American practicality,” with a 4.9 horsepower 50cc that returned over 90 miles per gallon. Wet weight was just 176 pounds.

Manufactured in February of 2006, this example is VIN: JH2AF60036K402900.

The odometer shows 1,539 miles.

Our friend Kevin Erion was given this as part of a package of scooters by Honda to use as pit bikes during AMA racing. It was last used in this capacity in 2011.

Modifications:

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here’s a selection of the most severe:

It is missing the mirrors and front/rear turn signals.

It is equipped with the original IRC MB65 tires from 2005.

In preparation for this listing, we installed a new battery. Our mechanic Daniel notes that the brake switches occasionally stick.

Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Honda is offered on a Bill of Sale only. Have any Metropolitan stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the comments!
