Description
Please Note: The seller states that this bike does not start when the motor is warm, and that is why he is letting it go with No Reserve. He notes that it starts just fine when it is cold and that it runs great when the motor is warm, however if you shut it off while warm and try to restart, it will not work and you’ll have to wait for the motor to cool down. This is a known issue with the model – Bennets mentions it in their Buyer’s Guide: “and lots of owners complain about a hot start issue that sees the bike refuse to fire up until it has cooled a bit. Annoying but not the end of the world and you can fit uprated fans to help stop it becoming too frustrating.”
As pointed out by someone on our Instagram, “the definitive solution to the hot start issue is replacing the Z25 gear and gear shaft that turns the crankshaft when starting the engine. The tolerances are so tight that the heat expansion and torque bend the gear shaft making it hard to turn the motor when starting. It’s a relatively easy fix though.” Kaming recommends speaking with Alex or Yvonne at Maniac Motors to order the needed parts.

One of the most unique-styled motorcycles in recent memory, the Benelli TnT 1130 was a factory supernaked dominated by a torquey triple that produced 130 hp and 86 lb-ft.
As Bennetts summed it up, “If you are into your quirky machines, the TNT 1130 should tick all your boxes. It’s as wild to ride as it is to look at and while spares are tricky to locate, and the dealer network limited, if you look after a TNT it is actually quite a reliable and oddly appealing bike.”
MCN absolutely adored this machine, calling it “one of the best ever incarnations of the naked motorcycle theme. A massively powerful motor allied to a funky design and capable chassis makes the Benelli TNT effortlessly good at wheelies and general A-road hooning. The Benelli TNT is probably the most ‘out there’ motorcycle money can buy.”
This example is VIN: ZBNTNTNT67P100263. The seller is our friend and noted collector, Kaming Ko. He acquired the bike nine years ago.
During his ownership, Kaming has covered roughly 1,100 miles. The odometer shows 9,423 miles. He notes that he has not ridden it in at least 4 years as he has another TnT 1130 that has been extensively modified.
Maintenance:
During his ownership, Kaming has replaced the tires and had the oil changed.
