Victory Motorcycles was the homegrown brand of Minnesota-based Polaris. It ran from 1998 to 2017, ultimately being shelved after Polaris bought the Indian Motorcycle brand and found it was a lot easier to sell bikes that people had heard of.

Within the conservative world of cruisers, Victory was an innovative brand, and the 1731cc air-cooled “Freedom 106″ V-twin engine that drove the Vegas Jackpot was more enthusiastic and capable of being pushed harder than the Twin Cam set-up that Harley-Davidson was using in its bikes at the time. The engine produced 92 horsepower and about 109 lb-ft of torque.

This example is VIN: 5VPXC36D893004733. Per the seller, ” So, funny story: I’m staying at an AirBnB in San Diego with my (now ex-) wife and kids asleep. I wonder what treasures could possibly be on the local Craigslist? It’s 1am, what’s the worst that could happen? The answer: My 2009 Cory Ness Limited Edition Victory. So I blindly replied to that Craigslist ad at about 1am, got a reply the following morning, put my son in the truck and went to go see the bike under the cover of telling the wife and daughter we were heading to a skate park. Met the previous owner, interesting guy. Weightlifter / pro-bodybuilder from northern Europe somewhere, maybe Sweden, perhaps Denmark I don’t really remember. What I do remember vividly is the noise this thing made when he started it up. That engine, seriously, could wake the dead up three counties over. It can set off car alarms if you give it a bit of wrist next to a line of parked cars. Have you seen the width of that back wheel? It’s insane, if you let a few PSI out you could probably just stand up and not even bother with the kickstand. What does it need doing to it? Well, that bodybuilder guy had “customised” it a bit, which isn’t to my taste but it might be to yours. If it’s NOT to your taste and you want to bring it back to stock, you will need: new rear wheel arch, seat unit, bars. Other than that it just needs a bit of love, care and attention, polish in the right places and this thing will look a million bucks.”

There is no odometer, true mileage unknown.
