Nicky Hayden was a Tissot ambassador, and the Swiss luxury watchmaker celebrated that fact with annual releases of Limited Edition watches inspired by Nicky and his MotoGP career – they had similar arrangements at the time with Danica Patrick and Michael Owen.
Here’s what Tissot had to say in their Certificate of Authenticity: “NICKY HAYDEN and 4,999 of his fans are teaming up with a striking new numbered limited edition watch for the 2010 MotoGP season. The Tissot 2010T-Race Nicky Hayden Limited Edition integrates Nicky’s colours and lucky number into a stunning GMT chronograph. Racetrack and bike inspired elements express themselves in high-tech, top quality materials, in a timepiece driven by a dynamic Swiss movement. The red of Nicky Hayden’s team identity enjoys pole position in the watch’s design. Red details on the dial match the head-turning silicon strap perfectly. Even the case back has a red background to show off the rider’s lucky number 69 and his familiar star emblem. Metal elements of the case are modelled on the structure of the brakes of high-performance Grand Prix bikes to add impact.”

The case measures 45mm in diameter and comes bound on an eight-inch rubber strap. It features a quartz chronograph movement, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a uni-directional GMT bezel.
The sale includes the certificate of authenticity, original purchase receipt, and Tissot warranty card. The original helmet case is not included, so the seller will be supplying a new Tissot watch box instead.
Cosmetic Blemishes:
The seller reports that “the watch is in great condition, with hardly any traces of use — only minor hairline scratches on the black bezel. The rubber strap is brand new, as is the battery and the gasket. All functions work as they should.”
