Nicky Hayden was a Tissot ambassador, and the Swiss luxury watchmaker celebrated that fact with annual releases of Limited Edition watches inspired by Nicky and his MotoGP career – they had similar arrangements at the time with Danica Patrick and Michael Owen.
Here’s what Tissot had to say in the certificate of authenticity: “To honour its ambassador, Tissot wanted to create a timepiece that illustrated the qualities of such an amazing racer. The 2006 MotoGPâ„¢ World Champion’s burning passion is portrayed through the watch’s fiery red, in a tip of the hat to Nicky Hayden’s race team. But it is his extraordinary determination, will to win and to reach for the stars, echoed in Nicky Hayden’s star emblem at the top of the dial at 12 o’clock that is his ultimate strength. The athlete’s dynamism is shown through the white stripes that go around the strap. All this leads to extremely high-speed, which leaves a tyre-track at the back of the strap. The watch comes in a special helmet box recalling all the essential elements that make up the beauty of the Tissot T-Race Nicky Hayden limited Edition 2013.”
This example is: #1,897/4,999. The seller (FJ Watches) has worked with Iconic before on a number of other watch sales. The case measures 45mm in diameter, with quartz movement and sapphire glass. It features a rubber strap that is sized to fit a 7.5-inch wrist, a date function and a chronograph function for race timing.
The sale includes the original helmet box, original outer box, all of the original booklets, a Minichamps Ducati Desmosedici Nicky Hayden replica from 2011 limited to 264 pieces, and a certificate of authenticity.

Per the seller, “The watch has rarely been used, and has very minor wear signs, like some hair scratches on the metal case side and clasp. It has a new battery which will be good for four or five years.”
