Nicky Hayden was a Tissot ambassador, and the Swiss luxury watchmaker celebrated that fact with annual releases of Limited Edition watches inspired by Nicky and his MotoGP career – they had similar arrangements at the time with Danica Patrick and Michael Owen.

Here’s what Tissot had to say in their Certificate of Authenticity: “It’s a new direction for both the watch and the racer, as this edition is a beautiful green, perfectly matching Nicky Hayden’s Aspar team colors. His superstar status is reflected in his star emblem in the counter at 6 o’clock. You will find his seal of approval, his signature logo, silk-printed on the caseback. The classic brake disk and magnifying glass over the date display mean the watch is still recognizably Tissot. this is one of 4,999 pieces and comes in a helmet presentation box. A true collector’s item.”

This example is: #3,129/4,999. The seller (FJ Watches) has worked with Iconic before on a number of other watch sales. The case measures 45mm in diameter. It is completely stainless steel with a sapphire crystal and a rubber strap that is sized to fit a 7.2-inch wrist. It features a chronograph function for race timing.

The sale includes a new replacement Tissot box.
