In 2014, MV Agusta had three displacement options for their naked Brutale – a 675, 800, and 1090. For most riders, the 800 was the Goldilocks bike due to an impressive power-to-weight ratio and even better handling. MCN called it “the best Brutale to date regardless of the number of cylinders or capacity.” That year, they also spun off a more aggressive variant, which they called the Dragster. MV called it their “most impudent, irreverent model. It has that wild, untamed allure that instantly bewitches any bike lover and makes it a lifestyle statement in its own right.” Customers responded well – initial sales that first year were three times higher than what MV had predicted.

Compared to the Brutale, the Dragster offered a set of forward bars, a bobbed tail, a different seat, a wider rear wheel, and (in the case of the base variant) spoked wheels.

In 2017, MV Agusta gave the Dragster a special RC (Reparto Corse) model just like they had done with their sport bikes.

It featured the same 140 hp inline triple as the Dragster RR, though the RC was limited to 350 units and featured lighter carbon fiber bodywork with a unique livery, forged wheels, and a Race Kit with a SC Project exhaust.

This example is VIN: ZCGPJGNU4JV020292.
