One of America’s motorcycling legends, Colin Edwards (nicknamed the “Texas Tornado”) joined MotoGP in 2003 after winning his second World Superbike Championship. His first season was with Aprilia, and unfortunately for him the bike wasn’t particularly competitive. In fact, the Cube was probably best known for catching fire at Sachsenring after the fuel cap fell off. Colin was thankfully uninjured and switched to Telefonica Movistar Honda the following year.

Over the next few seasons, Edwards first competed with the factory Yamaha team and then subsequently with the Tech3 satellite squad. His best results came at Laguna Seca in 2005 (second) and Donington Park in 2007 (second). During that time, he made his way up the standings — finishing as high as fourth overall — but regular bike problems proved a hinderance to his success. Edwards closed out his MotoGP career with Forward Racing before retiring in 2014.

The seller acquired the helmet new in 2014. It is a size large.

He states that “Colin Edwards personally signed the helmet at a MotoGP event in 2014.”

Cosmetic Blemishes:
Per the seller, “there are no cosmetic blemishes of note.”
