Description

Additional photos of this Honda CB92 Benly Super Sport Project are available here for your perusal.

In the early 60s, Honda’s CB92 (also known as the Benly Super Sport) was one of the best small sport bikes available. The bike was sold between 1959 and 1962, and just 599 examples made it across the Pacific Ocean to the US.

The 124cc parallel twin engine produced 15 horsepower at 10,500 rpm. That was sufficient for a top speed of approximately 75 miles per hour.

This example is VIN: CB92010302, Engine #: CB92E-010325.

The odometer shows 11,258 miles.

The seller acquired it over a decade ago as a restoration project, but he does not have the time to restore the bike (and just purchased a very nice example of a CB92) so he wants to find it a new home with someone that will bring it back to life.

Cosmetic Blemishes: this is a project that will require significant restoration. Please see the album up top to evaluate the cosmetic condition.

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on Yokohoma/Dunlop Gold Seal K70 tires which have aged out.

The sale includes two keys.

Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Honda is offered on a Bill of Sale only.
