Description

Additional photos of this Honda CL90 Project are available here for your perusal.

Built between 1967 and 1969, the CL90 was a scrambler sibling of the Honda S90. Honda created the CL90 in response to the American market, which was clamoring for anything on two wheels that looked like it could go off-road.

Changes from the S90 platform included more fender clearance, wider handlebars with additional bracing, and a high exhaust.

The CL90 was replaced by the CL70 after the 1969 model year as multiple states went to a ‘restricted’ license that required less than 5 HP for beginners.

This example is VIN: CL90-183733.

The odometer shows 10,872 miles.

The seller acquired this years ago with the intent of restoring it, but he’s moved out of the state and no longer has time for it.

The engine case has a hole in it.
