According to the seller, “the story is, as Nicky and Miguel came in from a practice session before an AMA Superbike race between 2001-2003 at Sears Point Raceway (as it was called back then), the crew started doing what they do, and apparently, they took off the cans to replace with fresh ones (for some reason I’m not sure of). These were discarded in a trash can as we were walking by. My friend picked them out and asked a crew member at the time if we could have them, and he said yes.”
“Just then, in walked Nicky and Miguel. As my friend always has a paint pen on him, he asked for signatures. Nicky signed one and Miguel signed the other, which was then passed on to two other people.”
“One was Freddie Spencer, but the last signature I cannot remember. My friend (a former track announcer for the Bonneville Salt Flats who also announced a little at Sears Point Raceway) can’t remember either.”
We put up the photos on Instagram, and @jerome_r6_champ was able to identify that it’s the signature of actress Molly Culver, who was on a show called VIP at the time. @agabel113 added to it with an interview about Molly and how passionate she is about motorcycles.
