As you may have seen on social media (as well as a recent auction for a Yoshimura exhaust), Adam is parting out a well-equipped Suzuki TL1000R built as a Yoshimura tribute from some special parts that he acquired in an estate sale. He is keeping some parts and sending them to Iconic Motorbikes New Zealand for Red to create a bike but other pieces are being auctioned off here or will be listed on Iconic Moto Market.

This listing is for an Ohlins FG 8700 front end, Brembo monoblock calipers, and Brembo 19 RCS master cylinder. While they came off of a TL1000R, they are not make/model specific and could be used on a variety of “Iconic Motorbikes” as a serious upgrade!

The Ohlins FG 8700 front end was originally purchased by Scott Miller of Fast Company in 1998, they are Superbike forks with the compression stack and valving.

The fork features a Fast Company top triple.

Scott himself made the front axle out of heat treated chromoly 4140 steel.

We are unable to identify the exact model of the axial Brembo calipers however they are CNC-machined monobloc 4-pots with titanium pistons and titanium fasteners. Brembo features an image of the model in their story on how they developed radial-mount calipers, we believe they may be SBK-spec as well but we cannot confirm for sure. If anyone in our community knows, we’d appreciate some information!
