Over the course of his career, Sete Gibernau netted some nine victories, 30 podium finishes, and 13 pole positions — not to mention eight fastest laps. Arguably more impressive, though, is his persistence; he raced in the 250cc World Championship, the 500cc World Championship, the MotoGP World Championship, and he even had a brief stint in the MotoE World Cup. To top it all off, he made two comebacks during this time — once in 2009 and again in 2019.

This helmet is a 2004 Arai RX-7 Corsair model that was built in December of 2003.

The seller of this helmet bought it new from Pro Cycle and then took it with him to Daytona in 2004 where he was able to have Gibernau sign it.

It has been on display for over 18 years and the seller says it’s been regularly cleaned.

Cosmetic Blemishes: The seller reports that there are no cosmetic blemishes — “it is a brand new, unused Arai RX/7 Corsair helmet.”

The seller estimates that UPS 2-3 day shipping to the United States would be roughly $50.
Currently located Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, this helmet is offered on a Bill of Sale only. Have any Gibernau stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
