Description
Please note: Iconic has reduced the buyer’s fee to $150 for this item.
Introduced at the end of the 80s, the RGV250 was filled with design cues from Suzuki’s 250cc Gamma Grand Prix racer. When de-restricted, it produced over 60 horsepower to motivate just 282 pounds of dry weight. Visor Down called it “the purest and most race-bred two-stroke track tool ever to make it into a showroom.”
The VJ21 (first generation RGV250) was an impressive machine with its V-Twin two stroke engine, Mikuni carbs, and alloy beam frame.
These unique wall art tanks are produced by Parc Ferme Moto Art. The art piece measures 28″x20″x9″ and our transport department estimates shipping from our warehouse in Santa Monica to the continental US be around $150 via Fedex ground. The seller states “This is #1/2 of the RGV250 VJ21 SP. This tank was severely rusted and could not be saved so was sacrificed for this project. Painted up in the VJ21 SP colors, a reproduction DC-ALBOX frame badge has been fitted as a nod to the original on the bike as it came from the factory. I only made two of these, and I kept #2.”
Currently located in Santa Monica, California, this Suzuki tank art is offered on a bill of sale. Have any RGV250 SP VJ21 stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
